Something I did not want to do this time. It was that fun! Time really flies and all of a sudden its been years. Being with my family again made me realize how much I miss them. It's horrible. Minus the sadness, it was quite the party. There was a big buffet of food provided by my Mum and Aunts. The lovely ladies let me make the desserts.
I made two huge carrot cakes by quadrupling this recipe and the frosting was from my beloved Dorie. I also got to make something that has been on my mind for a while, the Baked brownie! It lives up to its rep, I need not rave about it. There were also butter tarts, my Mum is the butter tart master, and milk and white chocolate covered strawberries. All in all, a great trip home!
