Sugar cookies are a mystery. The appeal is understandable because they are so darn pretty and icing makes everything better. And the cookie itself can be really good depending on the recipe. But when all is said and done, there are still so many more flavourful options. If anyone says looks don't matter, give them the option of a oat bar or a sugar cookie.
