Toblerone Fudge

Before I get into the recipe, there is something I need to say. It may sound odd to some of you but do you ever think about stupid things like what wedding dress you would love? Or the song you want to dance to? I hate to sound like I am jumping the gun but I am a girl. These thoughts happen. There are loads of things going on up there and those pop in every once in a while when a great dress or song comes along. Since the wedding dress is already down (search Grace Kelly), the song was soon to come along. And it has. And it is currently on repeat and has been on repeat for the past few days. Look up "Give in to me" by Garrett Hedlund. May you die in his imaginary arms as I have. Side note, googled the man and we have the same birthday. Fate.
This is my first fudge recipe! Not that this is the first time I have made it but it is the first recipe I ever made and it is still my favourite. But I have one problem. I always buy two bars of chocolate and make them separately because one always doesn't work. Minor problem. It doesn't go to waste but it just is not as good as the first, it never comes together properly. If only I understood the wizardry of this.

Toblerone Fudge
From Kraft

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup evaporated full fat milk, not skim or 2%
1 400 gram Toblerone Chocolate bar, broken into pieces

Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper, with ends of paper extending over sides. Mix sugar, butter and evaporated milk in large saucepan. Bring to full rolling boil on medium (nothing higher or it won't cook and set properly) heat, stirring constantly. Boil 5 min., stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add chocolate; stir until completely melted. Pour into prepared pan. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Use paper handles to remove fudge from pan; cut into squares. Keep refrigerated. Makes 25 squares.

First of all - Toblerone fudge is pure genius. Secondly, I never thought about wedding stuff before I got married, and when the time came, I was totally stumped! It's good that you think about this stuff occasionally before the big day!

Thanks! It is the best. And I am an open crazy lady for thinking about it haha but it unfortunately can not be stopped!

Oh and P.S. I made your white chocolate fudge and it was so good. And you were right, the 9 x 9 pan would be the best fit as opposed to the 8 x 8. Had to stop myself from inhaling the batch.
